Notes
General:
Birth is either Mar or Jun 1859 - there are two Mary Ann Aplin births registered in Axminster in 1859.

After Mary Ann was widowed in 1882 her two children, William and Phebe, were brought up by her parents (they both appear in the 1891 census as the son and daughter of Amos and Eliza Aplin). By 1891 Mary Ann had became a cook at a hotel in Lyme Regis.
