General:
Mary Sophia (sometimes shown as Short in IGI records) Wilkins, my great great grandmother, was born in Gloucester Rd, Bristol in 1843. (According to the 1881 census). Information from Malcolm Millman says that she married James Millman in 1865 and was the owner of a draper's shop. See notes re. James Millman.

The Wilkins family later founded a builders works in Bristol which subsequently became Wilkins and Coventry.
